Core Features

Daily Usage Limit (Free)

Set a daily limit (e.g. 1 hour) for yourself or your child. Works with Screen Time to block apps when the limit is reached. Supports in-app or remote requests for extra time or unlock until a specific time.

One-tap Lock & Unlock

Parents can lock the child device anytime. Children can request extra time or unlock; parents approve with a password. Balance control with flexibility.

Siri Voice Control (Premium)

Say "Hey Siri, use Screen Guardian to lock child device" for remote lock. Also supports "allow 10 more minutes", "start focus mode", "remove limit". Enable "Run with Siri" in Shortcuts for Screen Guardian.

Blocked Period (Premium)

Set fixed hours (e.g. 22:00–07:00) for auto-lock. Night or study time blocks managed apps.

Remote Management (Premium)

Manage your child's device from your phone: set rules, approve unlocks, view status. Changes sync to the child device.

Subscription

Free: Daily limit, in-app/remote unlock requests, one-tap lock/unlock, and more.
Premium: Adds blocked period, remote management, Siri voice control, and future usage reports. Monthly or annual plans via In-App Purchase; annual includes 7-day free trial. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Privacy & Security

Works with Screen Time and Family Sharing. No personal data collected beyond what's needed. Rules and approvals stay within your family group. Compliant with Apple privacy and review guidelines.

Setup

Enable Screen Time on iPhone / iPad. For child devices: complete Family Sharing and Screen Time API authorization. Child installs Screen Guardian and joins family; parent creates family and shares the 6-digit code.
